according to the NY times, during his first visit here to the states, the pope-alicious himself met with several victims of sexual abuse from other priests. and you thought running into your ex at chili's was weird. but the meeting took place at the request of the pope himself. good for him. good for not ignoring the situation and actually coming face to face with it, trying to make amends and all. still though, that had to be REALLY awkward.
